DJ Omni

DJ Omni
Biography

DJ Omni (Tim Heil) was introduced to “EDM” in 1990 when he first heard a house music DJ mix on local radio station. He had been into house and techno music most of his teenage years, but his DJ journey did not officially began until 1998. After attending a rave with guest DJ Richard Vission, he knew he would use DJing and his love of dance music to share his faith and bring joy to people he came in contact with. That year he bought his first set of turntables, spent countless hours at the record store and the rest is history.

Things began to take form In 2000 when he became a resident DJ for Denver based Liquid Soul Productions. In addition to DJing, he co-promoted number of raves and shows with friends at Soulhook Productions and later Tranceform Productions.

Formed in 2002, Tranceform Productions provided all night warehouse parties in downtown Denver as a tool to connect with people and to share the gospel. Through that ministry they were able to connect with some of Denver’s top club and rave promoters, and of course devoted party goers throughout the city.

Now, as part of the Transform DJs, DJ Omni has had the opportunity to perform at music festivals (Heavenfest, Ichthus, Cornerstone, Creation, Rock the Desert, Lifelight, etc.) and shows across the country (including a performance at the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheater – home to Denver’s own Global Dance Festival). He (and Transform) recently broke international borders, performing in England, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

From deep/tech house to electro and progressive, DJ Omni has the musical arsenal that can move any kind of crowd; lounge, club, concert or festival. He has been privileged to open for/share stages with the likes of Alice Deejay, George Acosta, DJ Dan, DJ Irene, Angel Alanis, Jon Bishop, Vitamin D, TyTek, Scott Blackwell, AJ Mora, Jeremy Dawson (Cloud2Ground/Slyder), and Andy Hunter to name a few. He has also had the privilege of playing various clubs throughout Denver, including the Beatport Lounge at Club Beta (recently voted #1 dance club in America).

In 2012 he released, with the Transform DJs, “I See You Moving”. He recently released remixes for Andy Hunter (Rise Up) and Everyday Sunday (Calculate). He is currently working on original and remix work to be released through both through Transform DJs (Progressive/Electro) and DJ Omni (House/Deep/Tech).

Tim is also co-owner (with his wife Lorna) of Deeplife Records.
